Bill Michaud has started learning Japanese. He already knows 3,000 kanji, and he`s been following the AJATT method for two years now, so he`s pretty deep in sentences too (And the guy consumes at a ridiculous speed, outmatching my pace by far).
So I brought Bill in and we had a conversation, talking about some of our experiences. We both had the same college teacher, and we talked a bit about that experience as well. For Bill, I was really excited that he brought in the point about how classes that are too easy can actually be more frustrating to many students. It`s difficult to excel (and accelerate).
